1. Peel the banana.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
  3. Blend on high until smooth. Add more liquid if the smoothie is too thick.
  4. Serve immediately.

Additional Options:

  • Remove banana & substitute raspberries/ blueberries for strawberries.
  • Remove banana and use cranberry-grape/cranberry-raspberry juice instead of orange juice.
  • Peach, raspberry, mixed berry, or your favorite yogurt can be used.
  • For protein boost add a tablespoon of peanut butter/ small scoop of protein powder, we like chocolate since it tastes like a banana split!

Time Saving Tips:

  • Freeze fruit in portions sizes suitable for your recipe.
  • If using frozen fruit, take out and let thaw overnight in refrigerator; this really helps with easier blending of smoothie.
  • Measure out all the ingredients into the blender jar the night before and refrigerate ready to blend in the morning.
  • Transportable in an insulated mug for on the go meals or snacks.
