Low Calorie Strawberry Jam

Made with Heeman's Fresh Fuit

Âľ - 1 cup
75 - 250 ml
Fresh fruit, cubed
½ tsp
2 ml
Lemon juice
â…› to ÂĽ
25 – 50 mL
Apple juice
½ - 1 tsp
2 - 5 ml
Fructose or sugar substitute

Delicious low-calorie almost-like-real jam. Use whatever fruit is in season—peaches, grapes, and plums are wonderful too. Make one batch at a time and it will keep in the fridge for up to several weeks.

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients and cook for three or four minutes on high heat.

Step 2

Taste the jam at this point and add more sugar substitute if it’s a little tart.

Step 3

Sprinkle one or two teaspoons unflavoured gelatin over it (and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved, to make it firm.)
