Heeman's is home to more than 100 hives! Many live next to our strawberry fields along Nissouri Road, and help produce our honeys.

Bees and pollinators are vital to the ecosystem, and have an impact on everything we do here at Heeman's. Keeping bees is a way to connect to another part of growing plants; a perfect harmony of flowers and food. Berry Farmer Tom has always kept an eye on these busy creatures and decided to start an apiary in 2017 with only 3 hives.
We work with other local beekeepers to offer a unique lineup of unpasteurized varietal honeys (honey being produced from a small collection of plants or a single nectar source) which all vary in colour, flavour and consistency.
