What says Heeman's more than homegrown berries?! We're constantly expanding the ways we can play in the cellar with our homegrown produce. In comes this Raspberry Whisky Mead. We aged our Raspberry Wine in a whisky barrel for 6 months, allowing the raspberry to embrace smoky tones from the barrels. With the addition of our traditional mead base for balance, along with fresh pressed apple juice and our Carolinian honey.
Tasting Notes: The aroma of freshly picked raspberries hit you with a whisper of sweet smoke. As you continue to sip, a perfect fusion of raspberries, honey and vanilla tickle your taste buds.
