KEEPING OUR SPACE SAFE
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
We look forward to welcoming you into our greenhouse space with a few guidelines,
that we ask you to follow in order to help keep our space safe for all who visit.
Masks are mandatory; we thank you in advance for bringing your own! Note there are no exceptions. We're happy to service those who can't wear a mask curbside for phone-in or online orders.
If you're sick or feeling unwell, have travelled outside Canada in the past 14 days or are required to be in self isolation, please stay home!
This includes your Timmies or Beanery purchases. Please enjoy them outside before or after your visit.
Use of hand sanitizer is mandatory before entrance. Don't worry, it's unscented.
We've increased our sanitization practices. Please limit what you touch in store.
We love dogs at Heeman's and welcome our four legged friends so long as they're on a leash.
All Daymakers are screened daily to ensure we can all stay healthy while we make your day.
Respect 6' physical distancing in lines, at checkout and while shopping. We've opened up a good part of the greenhouse to spread out!
The Beanery is open for takeaway orders only. We appreciate you grabbing your sundae or coffee on the way out to enjoy on the go.
Our Customer Capacity limits will be publicly posted at the entrance doors, and updated with the latest COVID zone requirements.
Yes, we are still open for in-person visits to the greenhouse! (reduced capacity at 25%)
During the shutdown garden supplies are deemed essential, by the Ontario government.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we transition with changing COVID protocols as we try to prepare for spring. We’ll continue to do our best to serve you in these wild times!

By order of the Middlesex London Health Unit it’s now mandated that you must wear a mask when visiting public indoor spaces like ours, as well as required when outdoors and in line. No exceptions.
We’re committed to serving all members of our community. If you’re unable to wear a mask we’re happy to offer curbside pick-up of phone or online orders.
Children under the age of 12 excluded from wearing a mask.
No, our display garden hill is CLOSED for the winter season.
Sorry, to create as much space as possible we have removed all picnic tables, chairs, and benches from the greenhouse, dock area, or under the shade tree. To make room for only essentials we do not (at this time) have any tables or chairs in the Beanery either.
During the current lockdown, the Beanery is open for takeaway orders only. We appreciate you grabbing your sundae or coffee on the way out to enjoy on the go.
Currently we’re permitted to operate with in-person shopping, and require you to wear a mask, no expectations. We’re happy to service those who can’t wear a mask with curbside for phone-in or online orders. We have some items available online for delivery or curbside pick-up, and will do our very best to offer as much product as we can online. Due to high demand of certain products, select items won’t be available online.
Select items such as Hard Cider and Gift Cards are available online for delivery only. Curbside is temporarily paused for online orders, and only available by phone orders at this time. We appreciate your patience as we transition to keep our operations safe and current with changing COVID protocols.
When curbside is open, here are a few things to know before placing your order:
At check out you’ll be given the option of pick-up times over the next 2 days. You’re welcome to select from available dates and times to find one that works best for you. Curbside pick-ups are a minimum of 24 hours from time of order. So, if you place an order on Monday at 11 am the earliest it could be ready for curbside pick-up would be Tuesday at 11 am. This is the minimum, if items are out of stock or your order is larger it could take us a bit longer to pull and have ready for you.
If we’re experiencing high order volume the pick-up dates/times might be limited or completely sold out.
Heeman’s does not offer delivery or shipping of all our items. We offer Ontario-wide delivery of our full line of Hard Ciders and Mead (free delivery on $100 orders). Select Cider Direct Ship when checking out online.
Additionally, it is possible to select Plantrunz, a third-party paid delivery service at checkout online. They pick-up and deliver orders in their service area from Ottawa to London. Please visit their website for service area and delivery fee information.
When permitted to be open in-store, we accept cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, or Heeman’s gift cards.
Online we can only accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.
